Terms of Service

Last updated: April 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of Fewwords. By using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Fewwords.

What Fewwords Is

Fewwords is a web tool that summarizes articles, YouTube videos, and Reddit threads using AI. You paste a URL, we process the content, and give you back a short summary.

Who Can Use It

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you'll keep it up to date.

Your Account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe.
  • You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • If you think someone else accessed your account, let us know at [email protected].

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Fewwords for anything illegal.
  • Try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the service.
  • Overload the system with automated requests or bots.
  • Use summaries to misrepresent someone else's work as your own.
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Content and Intellectual Property

  • Your content stays yours. We don't claim ownership of the URLs you submit or the summaries generated for you.
  • Fewwords is ours. The code, design, branding, and underlying technology belong to us.
  • Summaries are generated by AI. They can contain mistakes. Don't treat them as legal, financial, or medical advice.

Third-Party Content

Fewwords processes content from third-party sources (articles, videos, Reddit posts). We don't control that content and aren't responsible for its accuracy, availability, or legality.

Availability

We aim for reliable service, but we don't guarantee it will always be available. We may need to pause, update, or discontinue features without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

Fewwords is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months. Since the service is currently free, that amount is zero.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You can stop using Fewwords and delete your account at any time. We can also terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the service operator is based, without regard to conflict of law principles.
